WordCustard Has Got a Really Juicy Lensography!
Well, people around here keep on telling me I've got a cute pear and I have to agree. By the way, I said cute PEAR! ;-)
Another thing I've got is a juicy big lensography. That's a list of all the Squidoo topics (we call them 'lenses' around here) that I've written about.
Oh yes, this little green pear has been very busy on Squidoo. Since my first visit in September 2009, I've created 50 pages on a whole range of topics - everything from brown basmati rice to Hogmanay, and heart-shaped food to the meaning of happiness! Not to forget a whole page dedicated to the cute green pear, of course!
And now here is the cute little green pear bidding you welcome to a tour of my work here on Squidoo.
Introduction to the Author: WordCustard
It's nice to meet you!
Just read on to see what kind of things I've written about.
If you'd like to know more about me and my adventures writing on a whole range of topics for Squidoo, you can learn more (and test your knowledge) here! Friends and strangers all welcome.

Family History Research
Shaking the family tree...
One of my interests is genealogy. I love learning about history and I especially love the way it all comes to life when you are able to see events of bygone eras through the eyes of an ancestor. My most exciting find was a great (x4) grandfather who fought in the Napoleonic Wars and was later reduced to theft during a time of great poverty, for which he was transported to Tasmania as a convict. (I also discovered that share this ancestry with a Hollywood actor!)
For learning more about life in the time of our ancestors, I recommend the wonderful book Lark Rise to Candleford which is an account of life in rural England during the end of the Victorian era.
